Summary : The new Tamang Heritage Trail, offers a peek at the Himalayan life-style and culture. The Trail takes you to verdant midlands of Nepal experiencing the beauty of the mointain region and the culture of the people who live here. The Trail passes through traditional Tamang village where life, culture and crafts have remained unchanged since the beginning of the settlement. Warm traditional welcome hosted by the locals, their elaborate costumes, rich architecture of their mountain houses and the ancient monasteries and placers of prayer add color to the experience of this trail. In addition of cultural experience, the trek also offers wilderness experience through beautiful landscape of alpine terrain, flat meadows and rhododendron forests.
Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival to Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel
Day 02: Sight Seeing in KTM Valley and Prepare for Trekking
Day 03: Kathmandu- Syabrubesi by Bus (Stay at hotel)
Day 04: Syabrubesi – Gatlang 6 hrs.
Day 05: Gatlang – Tatopani (Natural Hot Spring) 6hrs.
Day 06: Tatopani – Nagthali View Point 3100m. 4 hrs. ( From Nagthali we can see: Langtang Mountain, Kerung Himal, Ganesh Himal, Sanjen Himal, Surya Peak and so on.. )
Day 07: Nagthali – Timure (Rasuwaghadi: Nepal Tibet Boarder) 5/6hrs.
Day 08: Timure – Briddim ( Typical Tamand Home Stay) 6hrs.
Day 09: Briddim – Syabrubesi 5hrs. (Stay at Guest House)
Day 10: Syabrubesdi – Kathmandu By Bus 9 hrs. (we can arrange 4WD as well) Because 50% of road is not paved.
Day 11: Kathmandu Extra Day
