Langtang to Gosainkunda Trek

If you are mentally and physically fit n fine, why not to do this 2 in one trek? This trek is closest from Kathmandu where you could get the massive snow capped mountains and beautiful glaciers. Langtang valley trekking is also called the valley of glaciers trek. During part of the trek you will be walking through National Park, and though wildlife is never easy to spot in a forest setting, there are chances of seeing some interesting animals and birds. Among those found in the park are monkeys, musk deer, pica and the national bird of Nepal, the colorful Pheasants. From Langtang village, the trail continues lead to Kyangjin Gompa , the site of the Yak Cheese Factory. After sightseeing at Langtang valley, trails down to Dovan and climb up to beautiful village Thulosyabru than reach the to Chandanbari through beautiful Rhododendron forest. They have Yak cheese factory at Chandanbari and well managed guest house with good food. After few hours climb to Lauribina offers best panoramic views of Langtang ranges.  The trails gradually up to Gosainkunda Lake and short climb to beautiful Lauribina La pass at an altitude of 4,610 m. is on its outskirts. The Gosaikunda area has been delineated as a religious site for Hindus. On the occasion of Janai Purnima festivals when thousands of pilgrims from Nepal and India visit this area.  After cross the Pass trail lead all the way down to sundarijal with many local villages.
