Helambu trek is a short trek of Langtang region, which is very near to Kathmandu valley and it offers varieties of exciting experiences to the trekkers such as mingling with the local “Hyolmo” people of mountain areas and exploring their culture and lifestyle, viewing the snow-capped mountains, the scenic waterfalls and enjoying the pristine beauty of the rhododendron as well as bamboo forests. This trek is a good trek for people having limited time in Nepal. The visit to the monasteries and view of the Himalayas at the Tibetan border are quite amazing. Helambu trekking trail is decorated by several Tamang and Sherpa villages, spectacular mountain views of Langtang, Ganesh Himal, Dorje Lhakpa and other small mountains of Langtang range. The trek starts from Sundarijal (1,390 m.), a small dam and hydroelectric station in the north-east corner of Kathmandu Valley and enters Shivpuri National Park.  Though this place is just out of the Kathmandu valley, the trekkers are assured of all the excitements of a typical Himalayan trek the awe-inspiring natural scenery, the beautiful villages, the monasteries, friendly people, pine forests, waterfalls and the majestic mountains.

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel

Day 03: Drive to Sundarijal 1hr. and trek to Chisapani 2215m./6hrs.
Day 04: Trek to Kutumsang 2470m./7hrs.
Day 05: Trek to Tharepati 3510m./6hrs.
Day 06: Trek to Melamchigaon  2530m./4hrs. Explore
Day 07: Trek to Tarkeghyang 2740m./4hrs. Explore
Day 08: Trek to Sermathang 2590m./4hrs.
Day 09: Trek to Melamchi Bazaar 870m./7hrs.
